Pumpkin Cake to Die For

I have no picture to post but I can't wait to share the recipe for this yummy moist pumpkin cake we will share with our Thanksgiving guests this week.

Delicious Pumpkin Cake
Mix Together:
1 box yellow cake mix
1 pkg instant vanilla pudding
1/2 tsp each baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves

Add to dry mix and beat 2 minutes
1 small can pumpkin
1 cup water
2 eggs

Bake in greased 9x13 pan 35 minutes at 350 degrees

Frosting

Beat until stiff
1 cup whipping cream
1/2 cup brown sugar

Fold cream into
8 ox. cool whip.

Frost cold cake and refrigerate overnight.

Hi Ann,

I'm making this cake right now. Can't wait to taste it! I have my bunco group coming over to my house tomorrow and will be trying it out on them... :) Quick question... Do you wait until the cake is cool to frost it? I'm thinking yes so that it doesn't melt and run off the cake but just wanted to check. well looking at your recipe i see on the bottom frost COLD cake - i suppose it would help if i would just read the whole darn thing to begin with. Oh well. It sure looks good in my fridge and can't wait to try it tomorrow. :)
