Gardening and Canning in NY
Today was such a treat! The weather was cool and cloudy so I worked in the yard all morning, mowing the grass and trimming some shrubs. Everything is in brilliant bloom right now and when the sun peaked out, it was just magical.
Then I spent the afternoon making strawberry freezer jam from some small, ripe organic strawberries that I purchased from a farm in Dutchess County yesterday. Bring on the rolls!
