The Ice Man Cometh
The weather outside was frightful this week...but the fire was so delightful! Randy and I used our "bum" arms to clear about an inch of ice from the driveway earlier in the week after an impressive ice storm. Then Saturday 7 inches of snow was dumped on top of the ice. Randy had to dig us out Sunday morning so we could go to church. And...they say the really cold weather is on its way. We're escaping to North Carolina this weekend and then to Hawaii next month.

I thought we had impressive ice storms in Oregon. That one takes the cake. But it's so beautiful - especially when your inside.
Meanwhile it is 85+ degrees here in southern California. Craziness!
Ethan wants to send you a letter "right now". He's dictating:
"Dear Grammy,
I really miss you. I'm excited for you to come in 4 days.
Love,
Ethan"
Every morning he comes into my room and announces how many more days until arrive. He couldn't be more excited.
Grammy is just as excited to see Ethan as he is to see her!
Ooh, that looks really cold.
