Those of you who have visited our home in Carmel know that we have a beautiful bike trail that runs through our neighborhood.
This morning we took a ride and I took some photos to show the barns, lakes, streams, wildflowers, ferns and fresh raspberries that we picked along the trail.
We are having a very wet and cool summer and it has never been so lush and beautiful here.
Lightning struck near our home last night about 11 pm and knocked out our internet, phone and TV.
When we returned home I took a picture of one of my hydrangea and
lily plants in the yard.

Beautiful! That bike trail is pretty without all the extra rain. I bet it is awesome. We miss you guys! (oh-and I know I've said it before, but whats the deal with your house and lightening? crazy.)

The rain is doing wonders for the bike trail. It is very beautiful. You are so lucky to have that so close. And good work with your flowers.
I sure wish we could grow hydrangeas like that here in Utah. Your flowers are beautiful.
