Happy Birthday Randy Weekend

Randy, my mom and I celebrated Randy's birthday this past weekend with a road trip to upstate NY and western MA. We traveled through some beautiful country stopping along the way to take in the sights.

This is a picture of Randy in Easton NY at the very church where his ancestor Nathan Harris worshipped before joining the church and moving to Nauvoo.

We spent the night in historic Deerfield MA at lovely bed and breakfast. The next day we toured some of the 350 year old homes on the same street.

The highlight of our jaunt was Tanglewood where we enjoyed a picnic on the great lawn along with 18,000 other people and listened to John Williams conduct the Boston Pops and James Taylor woo us all.

Monday night we officially celebrated Randy's birthday with a home made coconut cake.

I love looking at my grandchildren and great-grandchildren and all the fun activities in their lives. Some great looking kids.

What a wonderful family!!

Ann, I create the calendar for Westchester Family magazine and I technically put together our weekly email newsletter (adding photos, etc.). I'm putting together this week's email newsletter which includes Grandparent's Day at Muscoot Farm. I'd love to use your photo of "grandpa and grandchild," looking at the chickens at Muscoot Farm. Our newsletter informs families of happenings for the week and weekend.
If you're ok with us using the photo, I can even include a photo caption with your names (but you'd need to tell me the name of grandpa and the grandchild).
Looking forward to hearing from you (I'd need to know by Tuesday early morning.. our newsletter goes out Wednesday morning. You can email me at irene.okwit@parenthood.com.

If your unfamiliar with our magazine and email newsletters, you can see our magazine digitally at www.westchesterfamily.com and also see a sample newsletter from our Web site as well. Your such a large family, I'm sure you know about our magazine : )

All my best,
Irene
