Pirate Quilt

When Rhonda visited in September, the only project we had planned was to copy her video tapes to DVDs. But no sewing project! Neither of us could stand it so we headed out to "The Country Quilter" and found this adorable pattern for an applique quilt. Rhonda got me started and with my limited skills, I continued the project when she left. It was so much work but so much fun and today I finished the quilt top. I plan to hand quilt it and carry it across the sea to the newest "Salty Dog" in Budapest...
