Last night we went to Shakespeare on the Hudson. This annual event is hosted every summer (for about 6 weeks) in Cold Spring on the lawn of a beautiful mansion overlooking the Hudson River. We arrived early and joined many others on the lawn for a picnic. We brought our own finger food and enjoyed the beautiful view and sunset before the play began. We saw "As You Like It". It was a gorgeous evening and the performance was superb. It is staged in the tent with action spilling out onto the lawn. Picture perfect till the cop pulled Randy over for speeding on the way home (3 tickets since he got his new car). The 1st was excused as an "odometer malfunction violation" with a $70 fine. The 2nd he pled not guilty and was never sent a court date as promised. He's counting on lost paperwork. Last night the officer looked at all the docs and told us to "be on our way". Go figure!
